ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has commended Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and a high-level diplomatic team for their successful representation of Pakistan during a recent tour of the United States, United Kingdom, and several European countries.

The appreciation came during a meeting in Islamabad, where Bilawal briefed the Prime Minister on the delegation’s engagements abroad. The team had been tasked with countering Indian propaganda and presenting Pakistan’s perspective on regional tensions and geopolitical developments.

According to the Prime Minister, the delegation delivered Pakistan’s message with clarity, professionalism, and a strong sense of national duty. Their efforts were recognized not only domestically but also by the international community. He acknowledged the team’s success in highlighting critical issues, including the Pahalgam incident and matters related to the Indus Waters Treaty, in a manner that reflected both factual accuracy and strategic insight.

He specifically credited Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for his effective leadership and noted that the delegation had defended Pakistan’s interests with a clear and compelling narrative.

The Prime Minister believed that India’s recent aggressive posture had faced a firm diplomatic and strategic response. He attributed this outcome to a combination of national unity, military professionalism, and international advocacy, adding that India had faced consequences for its actions.

The 11-day diplomatic mission included prominent figures such as Sherry Rehman, Hina Rabbani Khar, Dr. Musadik Malik, Jalil Abbas Jilani, Tehmina Janjua, Engineer Khurram Dastgir, Senator Bushra Anjum Butt, and Senator Faisal Sabzwari.
